TISSAA facilitates scholarship opportunities for TISS students

We have much to celebrate this month as MVBS Trust has selected TISS students as recipients for their academic scholarship. Twenty students have received the scholarship funds so far.

It was persistent efforts by Team TISSAA, and especially that by Dr Nitin Lata Waman, CEO & Secretary General that MVBS trust has extended support towards the cause.

Mr Ketan Patel, Trustee, MVBS trust and his team have been extremely supportive towards the cause. As Mr Patel took a personal interest in ensuring that the initial amount of Rs 3, 97,000/- is transferred to the students' accounts.

TISSAA efforts are consistent with the goal and mission of TISS which focuses on creating opportunities for those coming from the most humble background.

We have been fighting an uphill task from the start of the campaign to raise funds for the students. Thankfully, many of you have come forward to support the campaign #TISSiansBond4ACause, which received an overwhelming response from you.

This development will boost the confidence of our students and encourage them to concentrate wholeheartedly in their studies.

We thank our Alums, MVBS trust for the strong support and hope it continues in future as well.
