"The image of the green vine snake was made in the forests of Matheran, Maharashtra. This was shot during a moonless night in pitch dark, with just a single LED torch as the source of illumination.
The right moment came when the snake started slithering vertically downwards along a twig and let out a big yawn, providing me this unique perspective, says Swapnil."

While sharing his experience during the shoot, Swapnil says, "This was late in the evening in Tadoba. It was almost time up for our safari and the Tigress Sonam along with her 3 cubs had made an appearance a little while ago. Fortunately for me one of the cubs decided to enter the water again to lap up some water. The shafts of evening golden light falling through the trees provided dramatic spotlights, as I waited for the right moment to capture this image."
